On December 8, 2011, ULPA “IAK” held the round table regarding “Secure World Wide Web of Kazakhstan: aims of the society and business”. The meeting took place at 9:30 AM, in Almaty, “InterHotel Astana” (“Kurultai” hall).

The press-conference about development of the Kazakh section of the global open encyclopedia “Wikipedia” will take place on November 2, 2011 at 10.30 a.m. the press-conference will be held in the Kazakhstani Press-Club (Almaty, Samal 2 microdistrict, 58 Furmanov str., corner of Al-Farabi str., “Satti” Business-center, 2nd floor, press-hall).

On July 20, 2011 in Almaty (113 Baitursynov street, corner of Satpaev street, “Interhotel Astana” hotel, Kurultai hall) ULPA "Internet Association of Kazakhstan"supported by Ministry of Culture RK and Kcell company holds Round table on the theme "20 years: ways of development of the Kazakh language in Internet".

On July 15, 2011 Almaty hosted the extraordinary meeting of the members of ULPA “Internet Association of Kazakhstan”. The new members are approved of, the president and vice-president of the Association is elected, a number of organizational issues are settled.

At the moment the Association includes 23 organizations that support acitivity of the association.
