Projects of ULPA “Internet Association of Kazakhstan”
Internet Association of Kazakhstan realizes many projects directed at the development of Kazakhstani segment of internet, including infrastructure, legislature and others. Relevant issues of Kaznet development is its uniqueness. That is why IAK pays great attention to the development of the Kazakh language in Internet, its promotion as a means allowing separate Kazakhstani segment of networking from the global one.
Projects are also directed at guaranteeing security in the networking, personal liberty and protection of children from uncontrolled content. IAK tries to help people in their problems connected with distribution in networking of information that can inflict harm to them and their relatives.
The Association pays great attention to education of internet audience. For this purpose they hold seminars, round tables, trips to schools and universities. This work helps to increase the general level of Kazakhstani user and introduce high technologies in lives of common Kazakhstani people.
Kazakh language in Internet
Today about 12% of sites Kaznet are in the Kazakh language. Each year new Kazakh-language sites appear (including encyclopedia in the Kazakh language (http://kk.wikipedia.org), e-versions of mass media are developed, different seminars, conferences, trainings and contests are held. According to the internet community, it is necessary to search new ways to make the content in the state language become popular
Secure Internet
One of the most relevant tasks of the Union of legal persons in the form Association “Internet Association of Kazakhstan” is popularization of the national segment of Internet and cooperation in its development as harmonic space considering interests of all users.
Commission on rights
Legal differences commission is a body under “Internet Association of Kazakhstan” which is destined to help businesses and physical bodies to thrash out relevance of requirements or claims in a dispute.
Education
ULPA “Internet Association of Kazakhstan” holds active educational work to raise internet literacy of population and youth in particular. In view of this IAK regularly visits schools of Almaty and Almaty oblast. The lectures are about the ways of using internet in education, self-development, skills of programming, design, etc. IAK also holds lectures in universities, professional orientation lessons in schools and colleges.
